Windows 10 sky sports won't work

Hi I updated my laptop to Windows 10 and sky sports won't play now says to many devices tried changing device and then trying Firefox and still doesn't work

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. 

 

I'm really sorry to hear that you are having an issue using the Sports site since updating your OS to Windows 10. 

 

You can resolve this by logging into anywhere.virginmedia.com > Sky Movies & Sky Sports. 

 

Remove your device and then go to www.skysports.com 

 

Log in using your My VM details and attempt to stream. This will automatically register the device.

Hi Denron, 

 

Thanks for coming back and letting us know how you got on. 

 

If the error message is still coming up as too many devices then this means you've not deleted any devices to make room for the new registration.

 

Make sure you are not just removing from My Profile > Device Settings as this is for TV Anywhere only and won't resolve the Sky platform issue. You need to make sure you are selecting Sky Movies and Sky Sports from the list of 3 there. 

 

If you've removed the device and can see a free slot but still getting an error, what is the new error message that you are getting?

I have tried deleting device in virgin media manage my devices also a can watch stuff on tv anywhere it is just sky sports and everything was fine before the Windows 10 upgrade

Yes and was using Firefox sure sky go customers are having issues

Hi Denron, 

 

As mentioned in my 2nd post, deleting from Manage my devices is NOT the correct way. This will only delete the device from the VM Platform and not Skys.

 

You need to select My Profile > Sky Movies & Sky Sports.
