Why only one device change per month?

IPad upgrade to ios10 means my one change has gone and despite having a free slot, I can't add my PC.  Why is this so restrictive?

Re: Why only one device change per month?

Its so it cannot be abused, you could potentially add friends devices and delete when they have watched the match

Abused?  I'm not even changing the device.   Upgrade the operating system and it has to be re-registered.   Wouldn't two changes a month be reasonable?  It's not like changing it every day, is it?

Re: Why only one device change per month?

I never said YOU were abusing it, your question was why is there a limitation

But why not two device changes a month?  Especially if like me, you cleared both down months ago because of using an old laptop and not bothering to add a new one..

Re: Why only one device change per month?

Hi arrgee1991,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you're unhappy with how things stand currently. I've fed this information back to the development team.

When ever you need to update your OS, you would need to re-register the device. We are able to add a device change for you in order for you to do this.

Since you posted, have you been able to get this sorted? If not pop back and let us know and we can sort things out.

Thanks,
