Why not switch off change limit?

It makes me wonder, has it honestly not occurred to anyone at Virgin that they could at least turn off the limit of one change a month while this issue is resolved.

I know it would be a pain having to re-register devices all the time, but at least it would give us a work around so we can use the service while they try to fix it.

To be honest, I don't see why there's a limit, particularly such a tight one, in the first place, but that's a topic for another thread.

"Oh no, we can't do *that*, the content providers won't let us!"

Re: Why not switch off change limit?

More likely the Euros/Brexit coverage have hammered their servers in recent weeks, and it's in Virgin's interests to deny service to paying customers.

Re: Why not switch off change limit?

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for your patience whilst we are looking in to this fault.

Just to give you an update, the teams have been working on this and we hope to have a resolution soon.

As a work around we are able to add a device change for you which will allow you to register the device however as soon as you log out, you will get the same error again. To get the change added, please give us a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111 and follow the options to speak to the Broadband Faults team.

I know this isn't the best solution but it is only a work around until we can get things back to normal for you.

Keep an eye on the sticky here for further updates: TV Anywhere Device Registration

Thanks,
