White Screen with TV Anywhere

I have just signed up for TV Anywhere.

I have registered my device

I am using Firefox as the browser

I have signed in correctly on the TV Anywhere page

However as soon as I select a TV program the tv screen area on the PC is blank white

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Re: White Screen with TV Anywhere

Hi claton123,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you on board with us in the Community Smiley Happy

Usually an issue such as this appears if your Flash Player is out of date.

Double check to ensure Adobe Flash is the latest version by uninstalling from your PC and then reinstalling. Also do you get the same issue when using another browser such as Internet Explorer?

Come back and let us know.

Thanks,

Re: White Screen with TV Anywhere

Hi Kath F.

Thank you for your reply.

I managed to resolve the problem, but as it was over a week ago I cannot remember for certain what actually resoved the issue.

1. Deleted the Device and then re-created the Device

2. Updated Firefox and associated files.

It is now working........

However I wonder if you are able to answer the following.

I am unable to watch Sky Sports on any device.

I can watch BT sports and even Sky Sports News but whenever (no matter what time of the day) I try to watch SS1 I get an error.

I am subscribed to SS1 and I go via the Virgin Sign in but get the message "there has been an error please try later".

Any ideas or is it simply that it is very difficult to get a stream ?

Thanks

Tony

Re: White Screen with TV Anywhere

Hi Tony,

Thanks for coming back and letting us know that things are all resolved for you in terms of the previous issue.

With regards to the Sky Sports fault, rather than being directed via TV Anywhere, go directly to the Sky Sports website. When signing in, make sure you select the VM login logo before trying to enter in any details.

Once you've logged in, just try to stream from any channel and this should then register the device automatically.

Come back and let me know how you get on Smiley Happy

Thanks,
