VM Anywhere TV via HDMI

Hi all!.....I'm wondering if I can view VMTV Anywhere via a HDMI cable.Ive downloaded the app to use on my tablet,but am I then able to connect my tablet to the TV via HDMI and view on the TV?...my other half is often Ill and confined to bed and we simply can't afford the cost of another TiVo box as our Ariel is no good to receive freeview channels.Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can't do what you want.

Both Virgin Media with TV Anywhere and Sky with Sky Go disallow this.

They would lose multiroom revenue as customers would have no need for set top boxes for their second TVs.

You could try an indoor aerial. They're relatively cheap and good these days.
