Use of apple and android apps

i have a VM TV package but not a TiVo box. Is my use of TV anywhere restricted therefore to pc or Mac?  I.e. I cannot use app on Apple iPad or android devices? If so, all a bit misleading.

Re: Use of apple and android apps

Seems far from mis-leading to me:

Introducing Virgin TV Anywhere
At Virgin Media, we love TV. And we think you should be able to take it wherever you go. That’s why if you have our TV you can now watch the best of the box on your computer and if you've got TiVo, on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Android mobile or tablet and the Amazon Kindle Fire and Fire Phone, wherever there’s a broadband or Wi-Fi connection in the UK. It’s called Virgin TV Anywhere.

Re: Use of apple and android apps

Hi Depdog,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums.

I'm sorry to learn you were unaware that you needed to be a TiVo® customer in order to use TV Anywhere via the apps.

We've always been upfront about this from the word Go.

If you're looking at upgrading to TiVo® speak to the team online via the chat option here: http://virg.co/contact They can advise what the best deal is for you Smiley Happy

If upgrading is not what you would like to do then you always have the option of using TV Anywhere via a PC / Laptop here: anywhere.virginmedia.com

If there is anything else I can do, please let me know.

Thanks,
