Upgraded but inaccessible

I recently upgraded to the sports and movies ad-on. However the new channels are greyed out on TV Anywhere, and I just get a 'Subscribe' box.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great to have you here even if the circumstances aren't the best. Smiley Sad

 

Whenever you make a change to your TV or TiVo® service, it takes around 24 hours for them to be reflected on TV Anywhere. 

 

Since posting, have you been able to access the new channels?

Yes, at home I could find all my new channels fine, but from my mobile app they are all greyed out😟

You need the Sky Sports & Sky Movies apps, which you'll find in the Play Store

Thanks, I have them, but can't set TiVo to record from Virgin TV Anywhere. Missed the match I wanted to record now, anyway. I'll sort it when I'm home. Thanks for suggestions x

Are you sure it's not just the HD versions that are greyed out?

Yes, definitely all sports not included in Big Kahuna! Upgraded to include SkySports and Movies, knowing we'd be away for some of the Superleague season, thought we could just set the TiVo to record, but on Virgin TV Anywhere the new channels (specifically SS1) is greyed out. Daughter has recorded matches, but v disappointed

Thanks for coming back to me on this. 

 

As the channels are greyed out, I'll need to look into this further for you. 

 

I have re-synced your TV package with the channels available via TV Anywhere. You'll need to reboot your TiVo® box in order for these to take effect. 

 

Once you've done this, delete and re-install the app on your device and check your channel listings. Are the channels showing there now?

Thanks, I've re-installed the app, but because I'm away from home I can't reboot the TiVo box. I'll let you know how it goes, though

I've found the probable answer....I'm in Portugal, so that is more than likely the reason I can't record from TiVo. On my daughter in law's login, it said that I was in a location not supported 😏
