Tv anywhere on pc unable to play as it just keeps loading

hi all I seem to be unable to watch tv anywhere on my pc at the moment it was working last week but now it wont .

it will allow me to sign in as normal but then when you go to live tv click on the channel and then press play it just has a white screen with a black loading sign in the middle and just stays onthis screen and will not load or play .

Also when I try wact anything on demand I keep getting the message Please wait while we detect you devices? but I cant load the devices page.

I tried to go onto my devices settings and change a device to see if that helps but that wont load ether.is any one else having there problems? can any one help from support.

thank you MikeCapture.PNG

Re: Tv anywhere on pc unable to play as it just keeps loading

ya I had this problem....I think it might be the silverlight....to be frank there are so many problems with Anywhere, that I would just forget about it. It doesnt work well enough to be usable, you will regularly be struggling to get it working.

I have been with Virgin for 5 years now and Anywhere has always been a real failure.

Calling help, writing on the forums, rebooting your computer or deleting and reinstalling software, changing your passwords or device names....all necessary to get this working

Re: Tv anywhere on pc unable to play as it just keeps loading

Hi mike1212,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue watching TV via your PC.

Try clearing the cache and cookies on your browser before logging in to TV Anywhere. This will help.

Also make sure Adobe Flash is completely up to date.

Has this made any difference? Come back and let me know.

Thanks,

Re: Tv anywhere on pc unable to play as it just keeps loading

Hi mike1212,

Thanks for coming back to me on this and it's a big shame we still haven't been able to get this working.

The only other thing I can suggest now is to give the team a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111. They can take remote access and try to resolve remotely for you.

Come back and let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
