Re: Tv anywhere hiccup

You must have the app Guide set to display Streaming channels.

You can change it in settings to display Favourites and All Channels.

This will allow you to use the app as a substitute remote for TiVo, assuming you have connected your TiVo to your home network.

Re: Tv anywhere hiccup

Because the BBC say so.

iPlayer streams all BBC channels, and radio, and a massive collection of catch-up & archive TV & radio, often in HD with subtitles and or AD, and with seldom a hitch.  You can also download shows to your portable device on your home wi-fi & watch them later anywhere.  And that's the true meaning of "anywhere" not Virgin's definition of the word.

Quite why you'd want to use Virgin's offering, which buffers all the time, and is tied up in infinite licencing issues & red tape, when iPlayer is so good is beyond me.

Re: Tv anywhere hiccup

Not really my issue, the guide in the app lists all available channels, but it starts at 103, and then misses out all other BBC channels. I am just using my iphone as a second remote, as I have a Roku player to stream iplayer etc!!!!

Re: Tv anywhere hiccup

Hi EuanT,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums.

I'm sorry to hear that you were having an issue using your device as a remote control.

I'm glad all is sorted now for you.

If you are wanting to watch or catch up with BBC programmes then you can do this by downloading the BBC iPlayer app.

If you have any other queries or questions, pop us a post Smiley Happy

Thanks,
