Re: Tv anywhere dont recognise my tablet

Hi Chrissie2345,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your post. It's great to see new faces getting involved in the Community Smiley Happy

The licences we have in place mean only 2 devices can be registered at one time. I'm not sure why it's stopped working since you altered the name of the device though.

Did you alter the name of the device itself or have you changed it via the TV Anywhere site? Either way it shouldn't make a difference however it may help diagnose the fault.

What error message are you getting?

What are you trying to do when you get the error?

Let us know so we can help resolve things Smiley Happy

Re: Tv anywhere dont recognise my tablet

Hi Chrissie2345,

Thanks for coming back to me on this.

If you've updated the app or the OS itself this could also cause this sort of error message.

Not to worry it's easily resolved.

Using a PC/Laptop go to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Device Settings.
Remove the iPhone registration by clicking on the Delete button.

Once you've done this, using the device you are trying to re-register, open up the TV Anywhere app and log in. Try to stream Channel 4 and this should then prompt you to register the device.

Follow the prompts on the app and this will register the device for you and streaming will then commence Smiley Happy

Let me know how things go.
