Tonight 9th Feb - BT Sport...

So, just to make it clear to Virgin and the mods in here we will start a fresh post.

Tonight on BT Sport is the FA Cup replay and as usual we expect TV Nowhere to crash either just before or around kick off.

So, to avoid the usual pointless responses from staff can we check the following:

You have the latest software on your device?

You have not completed more device changes than permitted this month?

You are aware Virgin have been working very hard to implement a fix of which one was rolled out just a few weeks ago?

You are fully aware of the highly likely event of it failing?

You have checked the service at non peak times as Virgin say it works really well then?

Your prepared to wait 2 weeks for a response asking if the problem has gone away?

Happy? Well let's wait and see, then please post here with the issues and see if VM answer properly or push their heads deeper into the sand pit that is VM towers.

Re: Tonight 9th Feb - BT Sport...

Just about sums it up! Even if tonight goes smoothly, it doesn't really prove anything what with it being an FA Cup replay - big PL or CL League fixtures involving PL teams will be the acid test.

As usual, I'll be getting my hooky stream links together well in advance to be ensure that no matter how hard VM try to stop me seeing the match, they'll be out of luck.

Re: Tonight 9th Feb - BT Sport...

Nah - the listings say that, but the listings are wrong. I think perhaps VM don't want people to see that the game is on for fear of it falling over again.

Re: Tonight 9th Feb - BT Sport...

I stand corrected - sussed that when I finally got connected.  mmmm maybe this is a tactic to reduce the traffic "I wonder"

Re: Tonight 9th Feb - BT Sport...

Luckily I am watching via TV tonight on a 92" screen. This is just typical of VM but they do have a get out clause "tv anywhere is a freebie and not guaranteed" - load ofb****x

Re: Tonight 9th Feb - BT Sport...

Not when they cite it as a justification for price increases.  Not good enough.
