Sorry to hear that you're having difficulties with TV Anywhere. That error usually suggests that you've not attached an Ethernet cable between your Hub and your TiVo box. You only need to do this if you wish you use the remote control features. If you just want to live stream TV, just select a channel with the little icon next to it, and select watch on device (iphone for example).
This should get you up and running.
I hope this helps,

I've been trying to use the Virgin Anywhere app on my iPad, and found it has been extremely patchy. I keep getting a message that I need to connect my iPad to the box, but it will not connect. There seems no real pattern to what can be watched on the iPad, and what only brings up a 'watch on tv' option. Kind of defeats to point of TV anywhere to only be able to watch on TV. Sky Go is a lot more intuitive and considerably more reliable.
Sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with your devices.
It's definitely worth checking the software type to determine whether this meets the requirements for our updated application. If an update is available on your device, this will more than likely resolve the problem experienced.
Further to this, we are no longer supporting the below Kindle Fire devices. This is because they do not have enough processing power to run the new version of the app:
- Kindle Fire (2012) 2nd gen model # KFOT
- Kindle Fire HD 7” (2012) model # KFJA (WAN) + KFJWI (WiFi)
- Kindle Fire (2012) HD 8.9” model # KFAPWA (WAN) KFAPWI (Wi-Fi)
In order for TV Anywhere to work you also need to have a minimum of Android 4.1 OS and these models are on Android 4.0.3.
