TV anywhere problem with tablet

My tablet says not rooted but TV anywhere thinks it is. How can I resolve this problem?

Re: TV anywhere problem with tablet

Hi Ronniehare,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums.

I'm sorry to hear you are getting this error message. For it to be coming up, the app must be seeing something on your device that makes it look like it's rooted.

What is the make and model of your device?

What OS are you running?

Do you have the Super SU or Superuser app on your device?

Let me know.

Thanks,

Re: TV anywhere problem with tablet

Hi Kath

Thanks for the reply, the tablet is a Fusion5 running Android 5.1.1, I don't have the SU or Superuser  app on the tablet.

Re: TV anywhere problem with tablet

Hi Ronnie,

Thanks for coming back to me on this. Apologies for the delay in replying. I've been off over the Christmas and New Years period but am back now and here to help where I can.

I've not heard of this tablet before however without the SU or Superuser app I'm not sure what could be causing it to bring up this error.

Doing some research on this, it looks as though other providers such as Sky's app's won't work on this device either. The research suggests the OS is a rooted form.

If this is the case then TV Anywhere won't work I'm afraid.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Thanks,
