TV anywhere app is getting worse

Hi all. I have had the tv anywhere app for about a year now. Odd glitches etc but it's getting worse.
Keeps asking, in the middle of programmes to register my device and now it doesn't have itv, which I watch alot.
It's getting very frustrating to be honest.

Re: TV anywhere app is getting worse

Hi Dubchic,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great to have a new face in the crowd.

There was a fault we became aware of that has since been resolved.

How have things been since you last posted? I'm hoping all is working as it should be now but if not, and you're still having an issue, come back and let me know.

Thanks,

Re: TV anywhere app is getting worse

Hi Kath_F

Thank you very much for your reply,  much appreciated.

Itv is since come back yippee ☺

But there is still the register your device issue along with problems streaming.

Today I received my super hub and I was hoping the streaming issues would be solved but no 😞

But happy itv is back 😁

Thanks again 👍

Re: TV anywhere app is getting worse

Hi Dubchic,

Thanks for coming back to me on this Smiley Happy

What is the make and model of your device?
What OS is the device running?

Rather than just re-registering the device, try deleting the app completely. Once this is done, using a PC / Laptop go to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Device Settings.

Remove the device registration by clicking on the Delete button.

After this re-install the app and log in as normal. Try to stream Channel 4 and this should then prompt you to register the device.

Follow the prompts on the app and this will register the device for you and streaming will then commence Smiley Happy

Let me know how things go.
