TV Anywhere

I am a new customer to Virgin Media and had all of my equipment installed 24 hours ago. I have downloaded the TV Anywhere app on my iPad. However every time I try to log in it keeps presenting the message username and password invalid, yet I know they are not. I have even tried changing them but still no joy. Any ideas please?

It can take a few days for authorisations to be made to allow TV Anywhere to work.

Cheers for the reply, Firefox should be able to accommodate the website version. If this still persists, we'll need to get this looked into and a ticket raised. 

 

Can you please call our team on 150/ 0345 454 1111 and our team will be able to take you through it and if not, raise a fault on it.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for your interest. I just tried again using the downloaded app on my ipad and I still cant get past the log in. I keep getting username/password invalid? A bit frustrating really.

Thank you for coming back and letting us know. 

 

I would like to ask a few bits of information to help you move this along nicely, can you please tell me?:-

 

  • What OS version are you using?
  • Have you made any changes to your account recently on your TiVo?
  • Can you log into the TV Anywhere on other devices?
  • Is the device auto capitalising the first letter of the password, sometimes this happens?

Hi Ben,
Tanks for getting in touch. I am trying on both my iphone and ipad which are both using IOS 10.0.2. I have tried using caps for my email address as it was noted down this way when I registered with Virgin on the phone. I have now edited this to make it small case and also tried that to no avail. So I have tried all the ways I know to get past the log in but it still keeps on saying Invalid username/password. I have also deleted the app several times and re-downloaded it without success. ???

I can get the website up and there is a lot of information on it. However when I click on something to watch live TV I get the message `This device is not optimised for this service-you are using an ios device-why not download our App!  Back to square one methinks?

Hi again

Seems like I need Flash Player for the main site and you cant get that on an ipad? Looks like the only option is the app, which isnt an option at the moment.
