TV Anywhere

What has happened to Tv Anywhere? I get a limited number of channels I can watch on my iPhone. I used to get most, especially BT sport.

Re: TV Anywhere

Yes, down to a total of just 12 streaming channels on the app, web still lists them all. Has been this way for weeks.  Pathetic.

Re: TV Anywhere

Ah. That'll be why my subscription has come down then. Wait a minute? It hasn't. It keeps going up because I have to pay for MORE channels I don't want.

Re: TV Anywhere

And I've just been given a "first reply badge". Thanks Virgin Media. Tell you what, I'll give it back if you give me what I and the rest of your customers want. TV Anywhere! You are in breach of trading standards because that's not what we get.

Re: TV Anywhere

Hi daviebawbag,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums.

I'm really sorry to hear that you are having an issue viewing some of the streaming channels.

What ones are you missing?

Is this still the case since you last posted?

There was a fault raised for this last week however this has since been resolved.

What is the make and model of your device?

Let me know so I can help resolve things for you.

Thanks,

Kath_F

Re: TV Anywhere

Hi Kath F

I get about 15 channels and it's all the channels I have no interest in. I used to get BT sport but don't now and all the BBC channels have gone.

I use an apple iPhone 6plus.

To be honest, everything about Virgin media is terrible these days: Internet connection is slow, TV picture breaks up occasionally and phone help line is well, only useful if your query matches a numbered option.

I've called about Internet and after downloading a speed tester was told I needed to sit closer to my router!! Laptop was in same place as BT which was faster.

Sorry for my rant. At least if you can resolve Arab anywhere, I'll be happier.

Thanks

Davie

Re: TV Anywhere

BBC channels have never streamed on TV anywhere, the BBC won't allow it because you can use Iplayer

Re: TV Anywhere

Hi daviebawbag,

Thanks for coming back to me on this Smiley Happy

You can view a full list of the channels available for streaming here: http://store.virginmedia.com/discover/tv/on-the-go/tv-anywhere.html

As mentioned by dannylau, BBC channels have never been available to view through TV Anywhere. The BT Sport channels are also available to stream via TV Anywhere on 531 and 532.

With regards to your internet, pop a post in the speed board here: http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Speed/bd-p/Speed One of the team can then take a look at your connection to find out what's going on for you Smiley Happy

Let me know how the issue with TV Anywhere goes.

Thanks,

Re: TV Anywhere

Kath F

All channels are now available so clearly something has happened. Thanks for this! My Virgin media frown is starting to improve.

I will post something about broadband speed.

Kind regards.
