TV Anywhere

I have complete Virgin package but Infeed for Full House TV & Broadband to home are separate modems. I am therefore not able to access TiVo on my IPad although I am paying 'full whack' and been a loyal customer for many years. Do I need an engineer to call so each can 'talk to each other'?

Re: TV Anywhere

Hi Beechbor0,

Sorry to hear about the issue concerning your TV Anywhere service with us.

I've re-synced your subscriptions for this service for you to see if this helps with the connection.

I can also see that there is a device registered for the service already.

I would recommend trying to unregister the device then reregistering it.

It may be worth changing your wireless settings to improve this type of connection.

Let me know how you get on with this,

Nat_J

Re: TV Anywhere

It really shouldn't matter which wifi band your devices are connected to.

As a test, I would try connecting your devices back on to the 5GHz band to see if it works. If not, you can always return to the 2.4GHz band where you have it working.

Re: TV Anywhere

Hi Beechbor0,

Thanks for popping back and letting us know how things have been.

As mentioned by Ernie_C, it shouldn't matter which wifi band you are connected too, both should work with TV Anywhere.

Am really glad things are working for you at the moment though. If you have any further issues, pop back and let us know Smiley Happy

Re: TV Anywhere

There is no need to have your TiVo connected to your Superhub for the vast majority of TV Anywhere app function.

You can stream channels and manage your TiVo resources without making this connection.

Re: TV Anywhere

Any attempt to use results in message NOT CONNECTED TO TIVO BOX ON HOME NETWORK. That is why I wondered if I need a Virgin engineer to resolve the problem. Thanks for your input.

Can you give some examples of what you are trying to do when you get the message?

Can you try streaming channel 104, please?

Re: TV Anywhere

Many thanks for your helpful suggestions but the plot thickens. Tried all you suggested without success and only more frustration until I came to your suggestion to reset wireless settings. Reset from VM783149-5G to VM783149-2G and SUCCESS at long last. Worked on both devices. -  presumably I need to stay on this Wi-Fi connection in future.   Again thanks for your help
