TV Anywhere "Communication Error"

Recently upgraded to the V6 box from the TiVo.

The TV Anywhere App was working perfectly on my iPhone 6 when the TiVo was installed. Now with the V6 installed as the main unit in the lounge and the Tivo moved to the bedroom, when I log into the TV Anywhere App I get the message "Communication Error - There was a problem connecting to the TiVo Service"

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but still get the same error.

Any ideas?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your TV Anywhere app.

 

Are you still experiencing issue with this?

 

If you are still having the same issue can you come back and let me know the following:

 

  • What OS are you running on your iPad?
  • Has this been updated recently?
  • Make sure you are typing in the username and password and not allowing the phone to Autofill the information.
  • Are you able to sign in to TV Anywhere online (web browser)?
