TV Anywhere not working on new tablet

Hello all,

I have just bought a new tablet, Lenovo Tab2 A10 and I get the message "unauthorized modifications detected" when trying to use TV Anywhere.

My tablet is brand new and hasn't been modified in any way, could it be that Lenovo modify Android in some way, or could my tablet not be as new as I think?

Can anyone suggest how I could tell if my tablet has been modified?

Thanks.

Re: TV Anywhere not working on new tablet

Hi gerdo40,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue using your Lenovo Tab with TV Anywhere.

It's possible that is the device has been rooted then this would throw up this error even if it's been un-rooted since.

What version of Android is your tab running?

Did you purchase the tablet from a person or a shop?

Let me know.

Thanks,

Re: TV Anywhere not working on new tablet

Hello Kath,

I definitely wasnt rooted, it came in a sealed box and I purchased it from a large retailer. What I have done since, is upgraded it from Kitkat to Lollipop and that seems to have fixed it.

Regards.
