I'm trying to register my iPad to watch live tv but every time I click on the register button in the app it goes to a page that just shows a message saying "oops - something went wrong" with a link to return to the app.
Hi. Just got a TiVo box after years with a V+. Got it all set up and thought I'd try the TV anywhere app. Connected to two devices fine and can control the TiVo box etc. When I try to register to watch on my devices though it just comes up with ' sorry something went wrong ' Devices I'm using are. Htc one m8 and Lenovo yoga 10 tablet. Any chance of a fix or suggestion on what to try? Thanks.
it is SO obvious that this a server side issue - it comes and goes, all platforms, works at 5am, gets worse or fails completely when popular stuff streams.
Then it works again with zero changes at client end - then stops again...
yet VM persist with implying it's the customers fault and that they can't diagnose it.
the concept of embedding useful diagnostic messages within the app itself seems completely beyond them
PC service is not a lot better - chrome has been unsupported for what - a year now ? every significant windows upgrade deletes device registration - a different browser is seen as a different device ???
i reckon I've been complaining on & off for well over a year, so have many ,many others -
the google play 1 star app reviews show how many upset customers are out there ...
