TV Anywhere on both my iPad and iPhone dumps me out immediately after the splash screen as of this morning: is this a problem others have been facing, or do I need to investigate an issue with (say) our network or connection?
I have removed and then re-installed the latest app, and both devices are running iOS8.
It just goes as far as the splash screen with the red Virgin 'infinity' symbol and the 'Connecting' message circling at the top of the page. After a second or two it dumps back to the desktop screen of apps.
The same is happening on my iPad (32Gb wifi only - I think this was the so-called 'new' iPad, just before the Air) and my 16Gb iPhone 5S.
Both devices are running the latest version of iOS 8 (8.0 2 or whatever) and I have re-installed the Virgin app - after doing this it prompted me to put in my email address and pw but then dumped me out again and we are back as above.
I should say that I can get full access to My Virgin Media via my PC desktop which is on the same wired network as my Virgin router, which all seems fine, and the TV, wifi and broadband seem to be functioning unchanged.
For what it's worth, I've now got exactly the same problem on iPad running IOS 8.1. It was fine yesterday, but nor crashes straight after the splash screen appears. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it makes no difference.
