For me the problem only started recently (last 10 to 14 days), but it is consistent (in seeking log-in data on every occasion the app is opened afresh) on both my iPhone 6s and iPad Pro, both with fully updated apps and iOS. Is it due to a recent iOS update and, if so, why is VM not doing something about it?

While I appreciate that other users can't really answer my question, I trust that the message will have been read by VM and that, with the company's usual 'alacrity', we'll see a solution sometime this year ... maybe!

A mod has already asked for device and OS info on this very thread which you appear to have given in your post

It is with Android devices too so I wouldn't be expecting a fix anytime soon.

Apologies for not getting back sooner, I've been out of the office for the past few days. 

This issue has now been raised for investigations, and it is being looked into. As soon as I have any further information on this I will pop an update here.

I'm getting this as well on both IPhone and iPad.

Seems to have only started recently. And it's quite a pain having to retype the email address and password with the tiny keyboard on the iPhone!!

...which seems to me, halcyondays, reason to think it's nothing to do with the iOS/Android apps or the TiVo boxes, but with Virgin Media's online management of log-ins!

I'm also having problems with the TV Anywhere app regularly logging out. Whilst it allows me to log back in again, it is inconvenient. I've been using the app for years and with the odd occasion it has always remained logged in. Now it seems that every day I open up the app I get requested to enter my login and password.

I've also been having the same problem with the android app.

Nexus 9 - android 7.1.1

Pixel C - android 7.1.1

iPhone 5s iOS 10.2.1 had to login twice again today hopefully this issue gets fix soon 🛠
