A moderator posted (two weeks ago) on the TV on the go section, they are aware people are having problems. And stated "To confirm TV Anywhere is not affected by this issue at present " I think someone should rethink and read the posts from the last three days, & also bear in mind those that are ringing in with the issue. Also there are probably plenty of other having problems who don't do anything. Regards Micky

Think yourself lucky - I cannot even get TVAnywhere to load this morning. Was working fine (well, as fine as it ever does...) last night, now, when I open the TV app on my iPad, I get the VM logo then a message "Communication Error. There was a problem connecting to the TiVO Service" and nothing else, I don't even get the login box.

As always, everything else on the same network works perfectly well, Netflix and Amazon Video apps on the same iPad, and the two TiVO V6 boxes are working OK at the moment. 

I really do wish VM would just admit that the whole TVAnywhere "experience" is an embarrassing dog of a product, and give us a definite timescale in which you're going to fix these problems. 

And please don't use the regular cop-out and tell us it's a "Free" service. It isn't, we pay for it as part of the regular VM bill.

(Apple iPad Mini, iOS 10.2.1, by the way)

I do have to say it isn't 'every single time'. Though it did seem to have a peak of 'very frequently' at the time I started that thread, it has cropped up less recently. I don't use the app really frequently enough to be able to spot a pattern, though.

For info, I'm on an iPhone 6S, iOS 10.2.1

I'm having this issue.  I think it started when the TV Anywhere App updated to the one with the new skin.

Started in the last week or so.

If the devs are reading this, just implement TouchID as a workaround. Least that way it's quicker to deal with the issue.
