TV Anywhere and One Plus One

I just tried to use the TV Anywhere app to watch TV and I am getting the message that my phone has "Unauthorized Modifications". It hasn't been modified. I'm using the stock Lollipop (v5.0.2) CyanogenOS One Plus One ROM (12.0YNG1TAS0YL)

Can someone help?

Re: TV Anywhere and One Plus One

Bad news. In its current incarnation, It wont work.

There are some updates due to go in Cyanogen stables this week that MAY help

However if you were maybe to find an .apk somewhere that had been rebuilt for Cyanogen , THAT might work. As its unofficial its probably not allowed to link to it on here. I personally have no idea where one might look for such things..

eXtra Doughnuts for A helpfull reply from Developers might help...

"In its current incarnation, It wont work."

By "it's" do you mean "CyanogenOS" (not CyanogenMod. That's different) or TV Anywhere?

I have no issues with All 4, BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, TVCatchup so a video streaming to mobile device app SHOULD work.

I did have similar issues with the Three InTouch app (where the app said I had rooted my OS but I hadn't) but they removed the restriction.

Re: TV Anywhere and One Plus One

I mean CyanogenOS. Im fairly familiar with the difference. Smiley Wink

TV anywhere kicks off because of the way it validates, which is why it thinks you've rooted it when you haven't. Which is why the new update which addresses some validation issues may help.

Re: TV Anywhere and One Plus One

I really cant advise on which you should wait for.

The official line from VM at this point in one plus one is not a supported device.

Did you check out where I pointed you at?

Yes. None of the options work.
