TV Anywhere Invalid Username or Password

Hi all

I’ve had my Tivo box replaced a couple of days ago.(old TiVo HDD broke taking all my shows with it Smiley Sad)

Since then, Ive been unable to login to the “TV anywhere app”. I get the  “Invalid username or password”

Keeping it all simple :

I’ve used the app with my old TiVo box with no problems

Nothing else has changed (same superhub, same username/passwords etc – so I know it all works)

I now get the “Invalid username or password”

I CAN login to my virgin media account on my PC so I know my Username/Passwords are good

I’ve tried deleting/reinstalling the TV Anywhere app. No change.

I’ve already tried speaking to virgin via 150 on my phone, but their only help was to “wait 24 hours and retry”. Meh Smiley Sad

iPad running the latest iOs 9.3.2

Please can anyone offer any help or suggestions?

Thanks for your post and apologies for the issues you have been having trying to get TV Anywhere to work since having the TiVo® replaced. 

 

Any updates to your TV service can have an effect on the log in of your app so we always say to wait 24 hours after making any chances to ensure things are all synced. 

 

As it's been over 24 hours and things still aren't working, I've gone into the account and re-synced your package with TV Anywhere. If you reboot your TiVo® box, you should be allowed to sign back in to TV Anywhere again. 

 

Come back and let me know how you get on Smiley Happy

The advice you have already been given is sensible. It can take a day or two for a new TiVo to become active on the TV Anywhere app.

I'm not being funny, but I'd already waited the "24 hours" (although why this should be an issue on an existing set up is beyond me)

It's been 4 days.

Any help, advice or info from anyone in the know would be really appreciated.

Thank you for your reply.

For no reason, the app began working yesterday evening. 6 days after the TiVo box was swapped !!
