TV Anywhere Device Trouble

Hello,

I am having trouble using TV Anywhere on my laptop. It is registered as a device and it has worked in the past, but when trying yesterday and today an error 106 code appears saying that I have reached my device limit.

I checked to make sure my laptop was still a registered device and it was, so I deleted it and re-added it again and the same message still appears.

The laptop I am using is an HP Pavilion with windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Chanty

Re: TV Anywhere Device Trouble

Hi Chanty,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. Apologies to hear you've been having an issue streaming TV Anywhere Smiley Sad

If you updated the app or the OS then you would need to re-register your device. It's easy to do though so don't worry.

Using a PC/Laptop go to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Device Settings. Remove the current registration by clicking on the Delete button. Once you've done this, using the device you are trying to re-register, open up TV Anywhere and log in. Try to stream Channel 4 and this should then prompt you to register the device.

Follow the prompts on the screen and this will register the device for you and streaming will then commence Smiley Happy

Let me know how things go.

Re: TV Anywhere Device Trouble

Hi Kath,

I thought I would try and watch TV anywhere on my laptop again before deleting it for a second time as you suggested and it was working fine. Very bizarre! Thanks for your response.
