TV Anywhere App

Hi,
My TV Anywhere App has suddenly stopped working on my tablet, keeps saying 'Sign in error', check connection and try reloading page.
When I attempt this it keeps returning to the same page.
I have tried force closing and reopening, deleted the app and reinstalled, but still not worked 😠
Any ideas???

Thanks for taking the time to join our Community and posting on the Forum. Apologies for the difficulties you're experiencing with logging into your TV Anywhere app on your tablet.

I've been able to check this and can see that your tablet is still registered on the TV Anywhere server. Please try logging into My Virgin Media and change your primary account password and retry the TV Anywhere app.

Hi Terri,

I have tried this but still no joy I'm afraid 😞
Does not even reach log in page, just says sign in error, the log in page could not be reached,try reloading the page!
Every time I try it returns to the same page! 😞

I'm sorry that you've already tried my suggestions and it didn't fix the problem you are having with the TV Anywhere app.

Please let me know the following:

  • Are you having problems logging in on just your tablet, or with any device?
  • Are you able to remove your tablet and register a different device?
  • What's the make and model of your tablet and the OS installed?
  • Did you make any changes or run a software update on your tablet?
  • Do you have the same login problems when using the Sky Cinema or Sky Sports apps?
  • Are you able to log into your TV Anywhere settings and remove your tablet?

I've refreshed your TV Anywhere settings on the server and sent a new signal to your TiVo®. Please reboot the TiVo®, uninstall and reinstall the TV Anywhere app again and make sure you are logging in using your primary login details.

Please let me know the above checks and how it goes after the reboot.

silly question I know, but I assume your tablets internet connection is ok, i.e. can you brows web pages ok?
