Streaming channels not working, keeps looking for DVR

Since the last app update in December, when trying to play a streaming channel via wifi away from home, it displays error message that it can't connect to my DVR. I have a Tivo box and do not need it to connect to Tivo box to play streaming channels, it streamed channels happily before the last app update. Tried reinstalling app on Galaxy S5 and a number of Samsung tablets but does not work.

Any advice welcome!

Hi RTG1, 

 

Thanks for your post and welcome tot he forums. It's really great having you on board with us. 

 

As TVA uses your TiVo® it does need to be on, or in standby to work. 

 

It may help you if you do a reboot of your TiVo® when next home. This will refresh the connection and things should start to work.

Yes, works fine now. Must remember not to switch of tivo box when I go out.
