Skysports reports unable to register device for existing devices

I have registered a laptop and iphone on the virgin media webpage for my account.  They used to work but now neither works and I have used up my changes trying to make them work again.

 

 

On the laptop it says 'unable to register this device. You have already used your device changes this month'

 

On the iphone it says something similar.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. 

 

I'm sorry to hear that you are having an issue registering your devices for use with Sky Sports. 

 

As it's now the first of the month, your device change would have been reset. 

 

Have you been able to re register the device since posting?

Hi Kath,

Yes I have now been able to get my laptop working again, but my iphone is still reporting Device Limit Reached, even though I can see it registered on my profile settings in virgin settings.

This is what happened last month, and then my laptop stopped working again and I couldn't use either for the last week or so.

Quite frustrating.

Hi Nic,

 

Kath isn't in at the moment, so I picked up your post. Thanks for getting back to us with that information. 

 

I've been able to access your account via the Forum details and have set another change for your TV Anywhere Sky apps. 

 

If you get the error message that your device is already registered, please try the following:

 

Navigate back to device registration then click "back to TV anywhere" and the stream should start after 2 or 3 attempts.

 

If it doesn't start streaming, please delete and re-register the device again (this should work as I've added another change onto the account).

 

Let us know how you get on with this.
