Re: Sky cinema

Hi Lordsmit42,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's lovely having a new face in the crowd Smiley Happy

I'm sorry to hear you've been having an issue since upgrading your Sky Cinema app. I've refreshed the device now so if you try streaming again the device will re-register itself.

Do you still have the same issue?

Come back and let me know.

Thanks,

Re: Sky cinema

Hi Lordsmit42,

Thanks for coming back to me on this one Smiley Happy

Apologies to hear things haven't improved with the refresh. I can see a device was registered so at least that is something. Smiley Happy

What device are you using?

What software is it running on?

When trying on another device do you get the same issue?

Are there any further updates in the App store or Play store for Sky Cinema?

Come back and let me know.

Thanks,

Re: Sky cinema

hi Lordsmit42,

Thanks for coming back and sticking with us on this one. Smiley Happy

By deleting the app and re-installing this ensures it is the latest version so thanks for doing that. Now we know it's an iPad we'll have a better understanding on the diagnostics.

What software is the iPad currently running? You can find this out by going into Settings > General > About.

I have added a device change for you today so try registering the device again for me by streaming.

Come back and let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Re: Sky cinema

Hi Russ,

Thanks again for coming back and sticking with me on this one.

Currently on the devices registered for use with Sky, the iPad is showing as being registered the 13th July so any re-registration hasn't worked.

I have completely reset the Sky platform for you now so there are no devices registered and 1 device change available.

Don't open TV Anywhere, go directly to the Sky Cinema app. Open this and sign in using your Primary Virgin Media details. Try watching a programme and let me know what happens at this point.

Speak soon,

Re: Sky cinema

Hi Lordsmit42,

Thanks once again for coming back to me Smiley Happy

I'm really sorry that this hasn't worked for you. The next step would be to give the team a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111. They will be able to look further in to this for you.

Please come back and let me know how the call goes. I would be interested to hear how they resolve things Smiley Happy

Thanks,
