Sky Sports device Registration

Hello,

I had my computer registered as a device for watching sky sports, this morning it did a bunch of Windows 10 updates and no longer worked so I thought i'd try the old (If annoying) trick of de-registering the device and re-registering it. 

Unfortunately went I went to Sky Sports and signed in as usual via the Virgin Media bit instead of displaying the video i get a message saying you have used all of your device changes for this month, the device is listed on the Virgin Media site.

So now i'm stuck in limbo of Virgin telling me it's registered when clearly according to the Sky sports bit it isn't, and low and behold it's the 1st of October so despite not using my monthly limit i'm now stuck with just having the Ipad using the other slot 

Surely there is something you can do? Why is their a limit on 1 device change every month when it's quite clearly a temperamental service?

It's now recognised as a new device, a removal and readd required, it's the same for all devices so not just you sadly

I understand this, but I think you've misunderstood my situation.

The problem is that Sky hasn't re-registered my device after removal but it's recognised by virgin and so used the slot on Virgin's website (for Sky Sports). 

Therefore my 1 free device change is simply lost in no mans land.

Sorry to hear you're having TV Anywhere trouble.

 

I've removed your PC from the device list and added another device change for you. Just go the Sky Sports website directly on your PC to re-register and let me know how it goes.
