Sky Sports Player Mac (Sound out of sync)

Hi there,

Since the switch has been made to the Sky Sports dedicated app, I am having issues.  I receive a clear picture and sound, the problem is that the sound is out of sync.  Even after the recent update to the player, the problem still persists and is really annoying.  I have tried everything to resolve this being relatively tech savvy but to no avail.

When watching channels within the Virgin TV Anywhere app online I have no such problems, it is only related to watching Sky Sports channels through the dedicated Sky Sports player on my Macbook and iMac.

Sorry to hear about the trouble experienced with this application.

 

I've had a look into this for you and I'm not able to detect any obvious cause for this at the moment.

 

Has this improved for you at all since posting?

Thanks for getting back to us and apologies you are still having the same issue with Sky Sports.

 

Have you tried to re-install the app and Silverlight, to see if that works for you?

Hi Sam,

Thanks for the message.  I have reinstalled the app and I don't need Silverlight as it is no longer required with the new Sky Sports player, it is standalone.
