Server Error SyncAccount error: 0

I have never been able to log into the TV Anywhere app on my iPad.

 

Every time I put in my log in details, I get the following message: Server Error SyncAccount error: 0 

 

Nothing else happens, and have had this issue since installing it the first time.

 

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing (which is what I read through the forums as a potential fix) which did nothing.

 

Restoring my iPad to factory settings is not an option.

 

Can anybody help me fix this? 

 

iPad is iPad Air, running iOS 9.1

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your post. 

 

I'm sorry to hear that you are having an issue logging in to TV Anywhere via your iPad. 

 

This error is often associated with trying to log in using a sub account. Are you able to log in to view your bills via My VM here: http://virg.co/myVM using those same details?

 

If so, have you tried TV Anywhere online? Does this allow you to log in and stream?

 

Finally try logging in using another device such as iOS or Android.

I can log into the site to view my bills with the same details, and I can log in on the TV Anywhere online with the same details too.

I have not tried another device because I only have 2 allowed and only want my ipad and laptop to be those devices. I do not own an android device, and would never use the service on a tiny screen such as my mobile phone.

I want to be able to use it on my ipad and my laptop only.

Thanks for coming back to me on this Smiley Happy 

 

As you have a Laptop registered, we can use this too. When going to anywhere.virginmedia.com and logging in, do you get the same error as you do when trying to use your iPad? 

 

What browser are you using on your laptop? 

Once logged in, does it allow you to stream?

 

We need to check this on a second device other than the iPad to make sure that the device isn't the cause Smiley Happy 

 

Let me know what happens on the laptop.
