Problem streaming

For the last 2 days, if I try and watch any channel on my iPad I get a message saying Problem streaming: There was a problem streaming this channel. Please try again.

This is happening on every channel I select.

There are no issues with my broadband connection (getting in excess of 200mbps.

Please advise.

Hi tintin_UK,

 

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you've been having an issue streaming TV Anywhere Smiley Sad 

 

If you updated the app or the OS then you would need to re-register your device. It's easy to do though so don't worry. 

 

Using a PC/Laptop go to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Device Settings. Remove the current registration by clicking on the Delete button. Once you've done this, using the device you are trying to re-register, open up TV Anywhere and log in. Try to stream Channel 4 and this should then prompt you to register the device.

 

I have added a device change for you to use so if you follow the prompts on the screen, this will register the device for you and streaming will then commence Smiley Happy

I'm pretty sure my iPad was a registered device at the time.

The problem did right itself a day or so after I posted and I haven't had it again since.

That said, I do find the speed of the app very slow when say, trying to bring up the guide. And that's running it on an iPad Pro with a wifi speed in excess of 200mb.
