New phone not recognised as new device with sky sports app

Got a new iPhone so de-registered old phone and registered new phone as my second device. When I go to the sky sports app and sign in through my virgin account it says I already have 2 devices registered and won't let me watch.

Thanks for your post Smiley Happy

 

Virgin Media's TV Anywhere service and the Sky Movies / Sports platform are different so whenever you make a change to one, you also need to make the change to the other.

 

If you use a laptop / pc to go to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Sky Movies & Sky Sports this will give you the devices you have registered for use with the Sky apps. 

 

Delete the old device from here and then on your new iPhone attempt to stream. this will automatically register the new device for you then.
