New app on phone

I used to use the old app on my mobile which connected to my tivo box without problems and I could record shows away from home.

With the new app that I've got now, it won't connect to the tivo box, looking in help it appears one actually has to physically connect the Tivo box to your wifi - my hub. Is this true? I've pressed rescan within the app but it cannot find anything.

Hi Bluecray, 

 

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you're having an issue with the TV Anywhere app. 

 

You would only need to connect your TiVo® to the hub if you're trying to use the remote feature. You should still be able to manage things though if you haven't made this connection. 

 

Try re-booting the TiVo® box for me. This will help Smiley Happy
