MacBook Pro - TV Anywhere Problem

Hi

Please can anybody help, I have been trying for months to get my MacBook Pro and Safari to work with TV Anywhere.  I've tried everything on the forums, including:

  1. Uninstall SilverLight and reinstall
  2. Use a previous version of SilverLight
  3. Remove the Mac from the devices and re-register using the device manager and by initiating a stream
  4. Different browsers, Safari, FireFox, Chrome
  5. Tweaking the SilverLight settings
  6. Upgraded the Mac to Yosemite
  7. Safari Upgraded to 8.0.5

It has never worked and I receive various messages, I'm losing the will to live!

Here is the latest turn of events, after waiting for yet another month before I can retry...

  1. I had one empty slot available in device manager
  2. I tried streaming Sky Sport One, after 'Obtaining License' I got the 'Reached limit of registered devices' message
  3. Logged on to the device manager and registered the Mac that way
  4. I tried streaming Sky Sport One again, same message again
  5. Now I have to wait another month until I can try again - AGGGGHHHHH!

Current Message = s:266 / c:1110 / t:6024 / c:4110

Any ideas??

Regards... Jamie

Re: MacBook Pro - TV Anywhere Problem

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for your post and hopefully you haven't gone to grey trying to figure this out Smiley Wink

One of the main issues for MAC users is that their cookies are set to Allow or Block. Change this to Always for me. Has this made any difference?

I've not been able to locate your account to check things in any more detail although I have sent you a private message requesting some information. Once I have this, I can help further.

Thanks,

Re: MacBook Pro - TV Anywhere Problem

I have tried the set "Privacy / Cookies and website data / Always allow" in Safari and I still get You have reached the limit for registered devices.  Please visit your service provider to manage your devices. [s:266 / c:1110 / t:6024 / c:4110].
