Lost Sky streaming

I had 2 devices registered - android phone and my laptop.

Until today i could stream both virgin tv and sky sports (via their website and app).

I now cannot stream from the sky sports website - "you have reached the limit for registered devices"

However, today i added a usb graphics card to my laptop and since then i cannot stream sky sports.

Would this usb graphics card constitute a new device and is that the problem?

If so, how do i rectify it ?

I deleted the laptop device in my profile and then re registered it but it still wouldn't work with sky.

I can stream virgin tv without any problems.

I am not sure if this is even the issue here....help !

I need some help with this asap.

Can my registered devices be reset so i can try an re register one device.

I need this working before October 01.

Maybe respond to my original question ?

Current staff response time on here is around a week. If you want additional device activation's before that timescale, you'll need to phone in.

 Hang about Ill dig up some information about what constitutes a device change..

So, i have re-registered my device today (laptop).

Everything working fine via streaming from the virgin website.

I still cannot get streaming to work from the Sky website -   "you have reached the limit for registered devices"

Is there a delay before the details of the new registered device getting to sky?

If not, how can i get this working ?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Sky Sports on your PC.

 

I've removed the registered device and added another device change for you. If you can go directly to the Sky Sports website and re-register your PC.

I found out what the problem was from this post:

I'm really sorry to hear that,

 

It might be worth popping a post onto the Sky forums to see if they've got any ideas.

 

You still have that device change too so you can add a different device if you like.
