'Live TV' not working on anywhere.virginmedia.com

Have tried multiple channels, 2 browsers and done a restart and still getting the same issue. Click play and nothing happens, just this little pathetic '?' in the middle of the player. It didn't work for most of this month and now has gone again. Really poor, considering that when it is working the quality is pretty direScreen Shot 2016-09-29 at 21.13.19.png

Re: 'Live TV' not working on anywhere.virginmedia.com

Hi Captain_Hodge,

Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with TV Anywhere.

We need to check to make sure 3rd party cookies are enabled to allow the video to play. In Safari, you'll need to click Safari > Preferences and then choose Privacy. Under where it says Block Cookies you need to select Never.

Once you've done that, try playing the video again.

Let me know how it goes Smiley Very Happy

Re: 'Live TV' not working on anywhere.virginmedia.com

Hi Josh, thanks for getting back to me. My browser is set to allow all cookies. I've not had a problem with this before. I've tried clearing all of my cookie data in case that was causing it. A week later and still not working, the only difference now is that instead of the '?' it's got a loading wheel that just goes round and round.

Re: 'Live TV' not working on anywhere.virginmedia.com

Hi Captain_Hodge,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Check out the fix in this Thread. We've found it to be quite useful in resolving this kind of issue. The device in the thread is a Windows machine but it works for Mac too.

Let me know if that helps Smiley Very Happy
