LG G5 Streaming Issue

Hi All

I'm getting the attached error when running through the process yet the boxes seem to 'tick' prior to the error if this makes sense?

Im on Android 7.0 and Tivo v6

**edit***

Seems the forums wont let me add an image either

Re: LG G5 Streaming Issue

Hi nofear,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear about the issues you have been having trying to stream via TV Anywhere.

What error message are you getting?

What action are you trying to perform when the error message comes up?

Is this the first time you are trying to use this device?

Do you get the same issue on any other devices?

Come back and let me know.

Thanks,

Re: LG G5 Streaming Issue

Katy from you post can we infer that the V6 boxes have software that allows Android 6 & 7 to work?

Re: LG G5 Streaming Issue

Hi J0hn,

Thanks for your post on the Forum. TV Anywhere does now work with Android 6 & 7, but you don't need to have a V6 box as these will work our Samsung and Cisco TiVo® 500GB and 1TB boxes as well.

Many thanks,

Terri

Re: LG G5 Streaming Issue

Hi nofear,

Thank you for getting back to us. Has this been sorted out for you now?

I can see that you posted about this here: TV Anywhere not working on Sim Free LG G5. Are no longer getting the "Device is rooted" error message?

If you are still getting this error, the server is recognising this device as being rooted. I understand that you've already advised that it isn't, and there are apps that could cause this incorrectly appear to be a rooted device.

If you aren't getting an error any longer, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the TV Anywhere app?

Please let me know if you are still having a problem.

Kind regards,

Terri

Re: LG G5 Streaming Issue

Still not working

Given up. It wasn't rooted and that thread confirmed TV Anywhere wasn't compatible with 6.0.
