Kindle won't let me log on to tv anywhere

Why won't my Kindle Fire (v3) allow me to log on to tv anywhere. Password is correct but keeps prompting password incorrect ?!

Hi Will3,

 

Thanks for your post and I'm really sorry to hear that you're getting an error message when trying to sign in to TV Anywhere. 

 

Do you have an active TiVo® subscription?  If not, you will need one in order to use the app. If you have got one, have you made any changes to it in the last 24 hours? If so then it can take 24 hours for TV Anywhere to sync with the updates. During this time the Username Error message may appear. 

 

Are you able to login to the website version of TV Anywhere on a PC / Laptop? anywhere.virginmedia.com? If not then try resetting the password within My Virgin Media and trying again. 

 

Make sure you are typing the username and password into the app and not relying on Autofill as sometimes they can add an extra space or auto capitalise the first letter. Both of these would produce this error. 

 

Let me know how you get on.

As mentioned in my above post, you would need an active TiVo® subscription in order to use TV Anywhere via the App. 

 

If you would like to upgrade to TiVo® then give the team a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111 and they will be able to talk through prices and options with you Smiley Happy

 Thanks Kath and the rest who have tried to help me. A bit more info. Kindle is a HDX v.3 using 4.5.5.2 , not overused or tired or abused. I've cleared the App and removed it from the cloud and reinstalled it. No change . . . log on page. . . enter Username. . . enter password . . . screen flicks back with no password shown and states ' password incorrect'. I know the password IS correct, for at the moment I am using my laptop on the same password. ( I am using my laptop because my flat screen TV is incapacitated due to blown backlight led's. Anyone know where I can get some?Smiley Frustrated). Other than that do I need to have a tivo subscription?
