Issues using OSX Safari and Firefox

Been having the same issue for over 6 weeks now and finally getting to the end of my tether with it.

I cannot log in to Anywhere on my iMac, running all the latest updates. I've had to borrow a friend's laptop (windows) to try and find out what is going on. Is there any known issues for OSX?

Re: Issues using OSX Safari and Firefox

Hi S1m0n2

Welcome to the community

Sorry to hear that you are unable to log into your TV Anywhere account through your iMac.

An issue that does occur with MAC computers/laptops is that the cookies are set to Allow or Block, change this to Always and see if that does help at all.

Also when you do try to log into your account do you get an error message?

Hope to hear from you soon

Sam

Hi Samantha

Thank you for your reply.

I have tried the cookie option and it still doesn't let me log in. I have attached a screen shot to show you the message I get

Hi Simon.

Thanks for getting back in touch.

Do you get this same message in Firefox?

Regards

Re: Issues using OSX Safari and Firefox

Hi Simon

Have you tried to clear cookies/cache/internet files to see if that goes through?

Regards

Sam

Hi Samantha

Yes, on both Safari and Firefox and it hasn't helped.

Re: Issues using OSX Safari and Firefox

Hi Simon

Does this happen on your other device that is registered to use TV Anywhere?

Try from this link to see if it will log you in on both browsers?

Speak soon

Sam

Hi Samantha

No, the other device works perfectly.

That link does not allow it to work.

Re: Issues using OSX Safari and Firefox

When I use Firefox I get this message;

An error occurred during a connection to identity.virginmedia.com. The server rejected the handshake because the client downgraded to a lower TLS version than the server supports. (Error code: ssl_error_inappropriate_fallback_alert)

I have tried connecting to the internet VIA Ethernet rather than Wifi but I get the same message.
