I get sync account error 500 when I try to access tv anywhere

I get the sync account 500 error message each time I try to access tv anywhere on Mt galaxy tablet. I tried reinstalling the app but the error remains. It has worked in the past.  I was on a cruise recently and can only assume that this is a result of attempting to use the app at sea.

Same here from home, sat 4 foot away from it. I wish the app used a local connection to the kit instead of via the web, like the older tivo apps did.

Same here.  Tried rebooting my hudl 2,  still no joy. 

If I type in wrong password deliberately it gives "Invalid username or password ".  With correct password I get " Server Error SyncAccount Error:500"

Worked fine yesterday and previously.

Problem seems to have disappeared now. I changed nothing.

Yes my problem seems to have gone away now. I guess it was an ISP server rather than a user problem.
