I can access live Sky sports on Virgin Anywhere but I cant access Virgin TV??
How do I register this laptop device for Virgin TV
Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great to have you here
The TV Anywhere and Sky Platforms are different so any changes made to one, must be made to the other too. This is the same for registering your device.
To register your device for TV Anywhere, go to anywhere.virginmedia.com > On Now > Channel 4 > Watch Now
This will bring up an error asking you to register your device.
Click on the prompt and follow the steps. Once registration is complete the show will start to stream. You can then choose any channel within the On Now section to stream from
Let me know how you get on.

Hi Kath, thanks for your response.
When I try to watch live TV the only message I get is that "device detection has timed out" and it doesn't give me any other prompt??
Any ideas how to resolve, this laptop is a registered device to watch Sky sports but I seem unable to set this laptop as a device for Virgin TV.
What browser are you using? Is your Flash up to date?
Thanks for coming back and letting us know how things are.
As mentioned by Crockret, what browser are you currently using?
Can you try another browser to see if this makes any difference?
Don't use Chrome as this isn't supported. It's worth checking to ensure it's up to date too.
Check on the Adobe website to ensure you are also running the latest version of Flash too.
Keep us posted on how you get on.
In response, the browser that I am using is Internet Explorer and not Chrome.
In terms of flash player I believe that I am running Adobe flash player 19 active X?
Does this make any sense?
Thanks so much for continuing to stick with me on this one.
OK, can you try again using Firefox to see if this pulls up the same error for me.
This is a little toughie as usually updating the Adobe resolves this.
Let me know how it goes.
