How far do your service engineers have to travel?

Regarding fault Reference no: F004287393 and the fact that TV Anywhere hasn't been working for a few days, the service status says:
We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way.

That's the same message I saw yesterday and the day before. Where is the engineer travelling from? An Indian call-centre, maybe?  Or perhaps they're on a slow boat from China?

Re: How far do your service engineers have to travel?

It's a metaphorical engineer, who lives in Sarcasmvile, in the apathy district.

Re: How far do your service engineers have to travel?

When the engineer finally arrives he clearly has no idea what to do in terms of fixing it

I disagree. He knows the perfect way to fix it. He says it's fixed but does nothing. On demand is still coming up with 'Oops . . .  Something went wrong'.
Fan-bloody-tastic.
When are these clowns going to sort this out instead of lying to us?

Re: How far do your service engineers have to travel?

Hi guys,

Thanks for your posts and apologies the service status page wasn't updated.

The service status updates are more for outages in terms of wording. With TV Anywhere, the issues are resolved by the TV Anywhere team so therefore, realistically there is no where to travel to arrive on site.

I've fed this back up to the relevant teams.

Thanks for letting us know Smiley Happy

Thanks,

Re: How far do your service engineers have to travel?

Thanks, Kath, I checked again today and found that it has finally started working; that's on the third day after they said it had been fixed. Still, at least it works now. Touch wood.
Cheers,
Graham
