FAO Support Staff. Trying add new device and need help please

On my desktop I deleted a device and then entered the name of the new one, still on my desktop.

 

On my new device I went into TV anywhere to try register it, got the message that I had exceeded change limit for this month.

 

I realise I should not have put the name in on my desktop, (I think), never found this program to be particularly helpful.

 

Could you me please for which I would most grateful.

Hi paulhumphreys,

 

Thanks for getting in touch with us and letting us know the issue you have with registering on TV Anywhere.

 

When I checked your account I can see that you do have 1 change left for this month. You can now use this change to register the other device. Just make sure that when completing registration you use the device you want to register and that should go through for you.

 

Also you will get 1 change at the start of the calender month.

 

Hope this helps and let me know if it works for you

Hi Samantha, Sorry to come back so quick Sky Sports is saying reached my device limit?

 

Just to clarify I am not on Lollipop but on a Hudl 2 running 4.4.2

Hi PaulH,

 

Thanks for getting back in touch with me.

 

I can see that you still have 1 change for your Sky apps also.

 

If you can log into your TV Anywhere account for me, on the right you will see My Profile, under here select Sky Movies & Sky Sports. This give you a list of the devices that are currently registered to use the Sky apps. You can delete the one(s) that are not using it, then this will open a new slot for you. Just make sure when you register your Hudl 2 you do it on that device. Log into the Sky Sports app and when you start to stream it will come up to register.

 

Hopefully this will work, let me know how it goes
