Exceeded Devices say Sky!

I cannot watch Sky Sports on TV Anywhere, anymore.

Sky say I have exceeded my devices but I have only ever had two.

They also say I need to download Silverlight when I have already done so.

I access TV Anywhere through Internet Explorer and things have been OK until very recently

Re: Exceeded Devices say Sky!

Same happened to me yesterday.  Watched Skysports with no problems for last few months then suddenly get exceeded devices message. Tried to fix, messed it up and now locked out until December.

Re: Exceeded Devices say Sky!

Hi snowyk42,

Thank you for your post Smiley Happy

Whenever there is a change to your OS version or some changes to some aspects on any device, this can sometimes trick the TV Anywhere into thinking it's a brand new device, when in all fact it isn't. Re-registering your device would resolve this and if you can take a look at your allowances, I have refreshed them for you Smiley Happy

Please let me know if this helps and all the best.
Ben

Re: Exceeded Devices say Sky!

Hello Ben.

Thanks for your reply.

I had sussed out that by de-registering my laptop, I could sign in to Sky as though I was using a new device and it worked.

Thanks anyway.
