Error message

i have been using my iPad at home connected via wifi to tv anywhere for almost a year. Since the new TVs anywhere update with all the new tabs along the bottom came in I cannot watch a thing! At any time of the day or night I keep getting a error message saying

we encountered a error while attempting to stream this channel [v:1001] I am the main account holder with my password etc attracted to the tvanywher account so why does this happen? I'm up stairs and never had this issue befor. It's been about a month now!

Thank you for your message, I hope you're keeping well.


There's a few tips you can try for the TV Anywhere, you may only need to try one or two:-

 

  • Check that only 2 devices are registered.
  • Sign out and sign back in, after clearing your cache/temp files. Make sure when signing in anywhere, that the caps lock is monitored and the username and password are typed correctly.
  • Reinstall the app itself, after clearing cache and cookies.
  • Check to see if you can sign into TV Anywhere from a PC to see if it streams. Please bear in mind that Chrome isn't supported.
  • Check that your device OS hasn't been changed recently, for example, Android 6.0.1 is unsupported.
