Dito. I've had a look at solutions to other errors like this, reinstalled my devices on Sky sports and cinema, also checked I have the latest version of silverlight, hasn't made any difference. Still getting error 1949 after 20 minutes,
downloaded the new sky go app and as mention every 20 mins error code 1949 pops up. reset and another 20 mins up it pops. Skygo is now unwatchable and will now consider cancelling my sport subscription as i only watch sport using this on my pc. skygo and virgin anywhere app is getting worse and they what to keep asking for more for quality going down.
I've also started to receive the error message since updating the sky desktop player this afternoon. The previous version worked fine. I'd also add that i tend to watch sports on my PC rather than via the tivo box and would seriously consider changing my subscription if this error isn't resolved.
Up until the update i applied this morning I've not had an issue with the sky player timing out after 20 or 60 mins - i watched a lot of golf, cricket and entire football matches without having to login again.
watching cricket and yep every 20 mins error code 1949. cant chat with anyone from VM all agents are busy. Hope to get an acknowlegment that there is an issue from there end and not blame users PC's are at fault
Also getting the 1949 error message after 20 minutes viewing. Cant find any referance to a 1949 error code and i cant see anyone on the sky forums complaining so this may only be a problem with virgin customers
