Downloading a programme to Fire tablet to watch later.

Hello,

I'm wondering how I go about getting a show onto my Fire tablet to watch later.  Later being a situation when I'm not connected to a wi-fi. I believe I should be able to do this and once I start watching the programme deletes in 48 hrs. Am I right?

Also is there any point changing the ip address and mask on my Tivo?  At present it is displaying the default ip address.  The Tivo box s connected to the superb by ethernet cable. I seem to be able to "Get show" and record the show which I think means that I am using the device as a remote control.

One more thing - why am I unable to watch so many shows from My Shows on my tablet?  Is it all down to copyright?

Thanks for your help.  I'm pleased to get this far as I have only just started using the app. Perhaps more help videos would be useful?

Hi FlyingSquirrell,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you here.

We are no longer supporting the below Kindle Fire devices. This is because they don’t have enough processing power to run the new version of the app.

- Kindle Fire (2012) 2nd gen model # KFOT

- Kindle Fire HD 7” (2012) model # KFJA (WAN) + KFJWI (WiFi)

- Kindle Fire (2012) HD 8.9” model # KFAPWA (WAN) KFAPWI (Wi-Fi)

In order for TV Anywhere to work you also need to have a minimum of Android 4.1 OS and these models are on Android 4.0.3.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Thanks,

PS You can't download from TiVo to any device.

You need a V6 for that function and it only works for some recordings.
